A little context for grown-ups
Choose a story, try a game or follow a science question together. Let your child’s interests, reading confidence and comfort with the controls guide you.
Choose a way to explore
Stories link to videos on YouTube. Games offers The Moon Pulls the Sea, a browser game about the Moon and tides. Explore introduces story creatures and real science; each is clearly labeled.
Share the reading and controls
Read the game instructions together and help with short passages or controls when useful. The game page explains touch and keyboard controls before you start. Take breaks whenever you want.
Imagination and real science
Parallel Planets is an imagined storyworld. Real science pages explain the underlying ideas and link to sources. Games use simplified models; they do not replace real observations or predict local tides.
A calm website
The website has no autoplay video, advertising or time pressure. Reduced-motion preferences are respected. The tide game has its own motion setting. Quiet stories can support a calm moment, without promising sleep or learning outcomes.
Watching on YouTube
Watch links leave this website for YouTube in the same tab. YouTube controls its own videos, recommendations, advertising and data practices. A grown-up can choose what to watch and stay nearby.
Progress stays in this browser
The tide game can save settings, observations and a badge on this device. There is no account or cloud sync. Clearing saved progress in the game also removes its stored settings. Browser data clearing can remove progress too; saving is not required to play.
Lost Worlds on iPhone
Parallel Planets: Lost Worlds is a single-player physics and exploration adventure with Marcus and Lucas. It has no account, ads or personal data collection. Progress and settings are stored locally on the device.
